THE Exchequer Borrowing Requirement last month was £364 million, compared with £287 million in the same month last year, according to the Department of Finance. Borrowing is always high early in the year and the Government's full year target is £729 million. Tax receipts during the month were £922.5 million, compared with £926.25 million the previous year.
