Eagle Star has emerged as the best-performing pension fund manager in terms of investment returns in the five years ended March 31st, according to a survey of 18 fund managers by insurance brokers Coyle Hamilton. The brokers also noted a continued move from Irish equities to international stocks. The annualised return recorded by Eagle Star was 24.1 per cent in the period, against an average annualised fund return of 21.7 per cent.
