SHAREHOLDERS in British department store chain Allders will receive a £50 million sterling special dividend due to the sale of its international duty free arm to the airline Swissair in July, the company announced yesterday. Allders sold its duty free division after several months of heated bidding between Swissair and airport operator BAA, which pushed the final value up by £30 million from its original asking price.
