PV Doyle Holdings, the hotels group, has announced two new appointments. Mr John Glynn has been appointed group general manager-Ireland with responsibility for the group's seven hotels. He had been operations manager for the Burlington Hotel and four other Doyle hotels.

Mr Seamus McGowan has been appointed general manager of the Burlington Hotel. He was previously general manager of Jurys Kensington Hotel in London.
