Dublin Docklands Development Authority has appointed Mr Peter Coyne as chief executive. Mr Coyne (42) is a chartered surveyor and joins the authority from British Waterways in the south of England where he is regional manager. The authority was established in May, 1997 and has responsibility for securing physical, social and economic regeneration of Dublin's docklands and the ongoing development of the International Financial Services Centre.
