Debenhams, which opened in Dublin's Jervis Street centre late last year, is performing well with Irish sales making a significant contribution to sales, the chief executive of the Burton group, Sir John Hoskyns, said yesterday. The group, which controls other main street chain stores such as Topman and Principles, saw its gross margin percentage rise by point over the year.
