Data General, the open systems company, has been chosen to supply a complete UNIX, NT Server and data storage infrastructure for the new Adelaide and Meath hospital under construction in Tallaght, Co Dublin. The hospital, which is nearing completion, will be the largest in the State. Critical applications running on Data General's hardware will include accident and emergency, patient management systems, order communications; financial and materials management. including delivery of test results.
