DANA Petroleum has raised £3.99 million through a placing of 28.5 million new shares at 14p each, a small discount on the market price of 147/8p. The proceeds of the placing with institutional investors will be used for working capital and in particular to fund an early production programme at the group's Sortymskoye oilfield in western Siberia.
