THE Margin noticed that Donegal man Gerry Robinson chose to surround himself with Coronation Street actresses when he presented Granada's bumper results this week.

Raquel's replacement in the Rover's Return, Samantha (actress Tina Hobley) was on Gerry's right shoulder. In between Gerry and finance director Charles Allen was the Street's shopkeeper Maureen while Alma was propped on the finance director's left shoulder. And poor Curly was nowhere to be seen.
