The High Court has adjourned to November 16th an application to wind up Black Tie Ltd, the men’s formal and wedding wear retailer.

The petition to wind up Black Tie Ltd, Terenure Place, Dublin, has been brought by UEDA property holdings, Arkle Road, Sandyford, Dublin.

UEDA claims it is owed €36,483 in unpaid rent arising out of a lease for a Black Tie unit at the Square Shopping Centre in Tallaght. UEDA claims the debt has not been paid and, as a result, it had brought the petition to have the firm wound up.

The case was listed before Mr Justice Peter Kelly in the High Court on Monday but was not reached due to the volume of cases. Mr Justice Roderick Murphy yesterday adjourned the case.
