HammerAuction.com, a Cork-based Internet software company, has introduced an auctioning technology designed to facilitate Irish e-business strategies. It says its new product will "allow any company to auction and generate business online within a matter of hours".

No software installations are required to implement the technology which allows businesses offer their products to new markets. Online auctions allow companies liquidate excess and end-of-line inventory, put contracts out to tender and "price test" for newly released goods.
