SUMITOMO Corporation's former chief copper trader, Mr Yasuo Hamanaka, has been advised by his lawyer to admit forgery charges related to alleged unauthorised copper trades, according to press reports yesterday. The news coincided with a report that prosecutors had questioned Mr Hamanaka's former boss at Sumitomo for allegedly ordering him to enter into loss making copper trades.
