COOLEY Distillers has won the 1997 DHL Export Award. The award was presented for its successful growth in exports of Irish whiskey brands to 30 countries worldwide. Cooley, the brain-child of Mr John Teeling, employs 50 people in Ireland and has a turnover of £3.5 million. Its main export markets are the US and Europe.
