The Department of Social, Community and Family Affairs has contacted Family Money to say the information it provided last week regarding old-age contributory pensions (OACP) was incorrect. Qualifying OACP recipients may claim the new "tapered" benefit from April, rather than in October which was originally stated in pre-Budget documents.
