American electronics group Computer Products, which employs 360 people at a factory in Youghal Co Cork, has reported a 43 per cent increase in its 1996 profits to $19.6 million. Sales worldwide rose 16 per cent to $223 million. The Youghal operation is the company's European headquarters for sales, marketing, product development and manufacturing.
