The 1998 Compaq Ireland Trade Award is offering a prize worth £10,000 and a specially commissioned sculpture to the winner. The trade awards, covering the North and the Republic, recognise excellence in trade and business co-operation. Along with the overall winner, the awards come under four categories: Small Business in Northern Ireland, Small Business in the Republic, Large Business in the North or the Republic, and a prize to the person who has done most to foster trade between the two markets.
