SmithKline Beecham's chief executive Mr Jan Leschly told British politicians yesterday he saw no chance of merger talks reopening with Glaxo Wellcome. He also told the committee that Glaxo "broke the deal and therefore destroyed our board's trust and confidence in their intentions."
