Coca-Cola has named Mr Douglas Ivester as its chairman and chief executive officer, replacing Mr Roberto Goizueta, who died at the weekend. The corporation has announced that Mr Ivester will relinquish the office of president of the company in assuming his new responsibilities and will not be replaced for the time being.
