Members of Riverview Racquet and Fitness Club met in private last night to consider a proposed buyout by the British leisure group, David Lloyd Leisure.

Estimates put the turnout at around one third of the membership, however, it was unclear whether voting would be completed following indications of dissent from some members.

Members leaving the meeting early said a group were unhappy that there had not been an opportunity to propose a members buyout.
