SCDL Ltd:The headline on an article on the business pages in last Wednesday's edition entitled "€ 100 million property firm owned by brothers goes into liquidation" gave the impression that Colm and Ciaran Butler have lost € 100 million as a result of the liquidation of South County Development Limited (SCDL), which was bought by them in 2007.

In fact, at the time of the liquidation SCDL had a deficit of €275,997 and a contingent liability of € 35 million which was not due as it had not matured.
