The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators in Ireland has announced the election of Mr Roderick Murphy SC as its chairman. A member of the International Court of Arbitration in Paris, Mr Murphy has assisted the Government in drafting new legislation in the area which will facilitate Dublin being selected as a centre for resolving international disputes. The institute's 400 members include engineers, architects, surveyors, valuers and lawyers.
