The Irish Association of Investment Managers has elected Ms Ann Powell (right) as its chairwoman for 1998/98. Ms Powell is a director of Eagle Star Life Assurance and previously worked for the Central Bank. Mr Gavin Caldwell takes up the role of vice-chairman of the association. Mr Caldwell is head of Ulster Bank's investment division.
