Mr Tom Corcoran (60) was elected chairman of Glanbia plc at a board meeting of the company yesterday, replacing Mr John Duggan, who has retired. Mr Corcoran has been vice-chairman of the board since 1997 and was formerly chairman of Waterford Foods plc.
