MEDIA group Caspian is buying soccer club Leeds United for £22.8 million sterling, it was confirmed yesterday.

MEDIA group Caspian is buying soccer club Leeds United for £22.8 million sterling, it was confirmed yesterday.

The deal, to be funded through a share placing to raise about £28 million, values each share at 82.5p.

Earlier this week the Premiership club said it had rejected a rival offer from Manchester based leisure company Conrad, which runs Sir Bobby Charlton's soccer consultancy.
