FOOD distributors Carton Brothers have won the contract to distribute all Danone and Fromageries Bet products in Ireland. In a bid to strengthen its presence here Danone has also appointed Mr Donal Courtney, formerly sales technology manager at Irish Biscuits. Mr Danone said that it plans to build market share in Ireland to be "in line with its international position". With a turnover of £10 billion, the group is the largest producer of dairy products worldwide.
