Irish Express Cargo has been awarded contracts worth $27 million (€29.25 million) annually to manage the supply chain logistics in the US for Hewlett-Packard and Dell.

The company has opened a 400,000-square-foot facility in Nashville, Tennessee, to service the contracts. Irish Express Cargo now employs 2,400 people and has a turnover of more than £170 million annually.

The new US-based contracts are extensions of existing arrangements Irish Express Cargo already has with HewlettPackard and Dell in Europe.
