THE venture capital arm of Legal & General has emerged as the main backer of a £26 million management buyout of Cable Management Ireland, the State's third cable TV company.

The management buyout will see two CMI executives, Mr Ray Doyle and Mr Stephen Keaveney, take a 20.5 per cent stake in the company.
