THE managing director of Cara Computers, Mr Paddy McNamara, has been appointed general manager of Bull Ireland.

Earlier this year the French based Groupe Bull acquired 51 per cent of Cara, which was formerly a subsidiary of Aer Lingus, for an undisclosed sum. Mr McNamara will retain his position as managing director of Cara.

He now takes the added responsibility for all Bulls business in Ireland. The two companies have a combined turnover of £49 million.
