Bula hopes to remove Russians at new e.g.m.

THE board of Bula Resources has set a date for another extraordinary general meeting to dismiss two of its Russian directors

THE board of Bula Resources has set a date for another extraordinary general meeting to dismiss two of its Russian directors. A similar meeting planned for earlier this month had to be abandoned after the two directors, Mr Alexander Marichev and his wife Ms Tatyana Kirillova obtained a High Court injunction. The two claimed that they had not been given sufficient notice of the meeting.

Bula said yesterday that the board has decided to convene a meeting on June 25th, at which motions to remove the Russians would be put to shareholders.

Mr Marichev and Ms Kirillova are major shareholders in the Russian Corporation, a former business partner of Bula in Russia.
