Ms Francis Buggy, has been appointed chairwoman of the Irish Internet Association (www.iia.ie), the professional body for those implementing the Internet as a medium for business. Ms Buggy is founder and chief executive of Corevalue. She will be assisted in her new role by Mr Gary Morrissey of Assurelink, who becomes vice-chairman and Mr Keith Bohanna of Kilkenny Enterprise Board who becomes treasurer.

Mr Frank Cronin will retain his role as chief executive.
