AN Bord Trachtala has assisted 208 Irish companies to begin exporting to Britain over the past two years. In that period those companies have achieved sales of £26 million, according to figures issued yesterday. ABT's five-year programme is targeting 400 new companies to start exporting products by 1999, identifying potential sales of around £100 million.
