BOOKMAKERS William Hill could take a bet on a stock market flotation, according to a report yesterday.

Banks in control of Brent Walker, the leisure empire once controlled by ex boxer Mr George Walker, have drawn up plans to realise the value of the 1,700 strong chain, the group's last significant asset, a newspaper claimed.

Options include a straight sale to a rival, a stock market flotation or a reversal into the shell of Brent Walker.
