From holy water to Beanie babies and Cuban propaganda booklets, the life and times of Elian Gonzalez are up for sale on the Internet.

The saga of the Cuban shipwreck boy has become the plaything of genuine collectors and pranksters alike in a bizarre bidding war. Some 65 Elian Gonzalez items were listed on the eBay auction website including a replica of the rifle that was used during the predawn raid to take the six-year-old from the home of his Cuban relatives in Miami.

Bidding on a box of Rice Krispies allegedly taken from the house of Elian's Miami relatives on the day he was seized started at $5.
