MR Tom O'Connell has been appointed general manager of the Berkeley Court Hotel. He joins from the Ritz Hotel in London where he was general manager. He was previously food and beverage manager in the Savoy in London.

Mr O'Connell who has been in the hotel industry for more than 20 years, has held several senior positions in Hilton Hotels. He is a graduate of the Shannon College of Hotel management.
