ENGLISH liquidators of the collapsed Bank of Credit and Commerce International (BCCI) said yesterday they must await a court ruling in Luxembourg before paying any creditors of the bank.

BCCI was shut down in 1991 with massive debts after evidence of widespread money laundering was uncovered.
