BARCLAYS Bank is merging into two investment management arms into a new company, it announced yesterday. BZW Barclays Global Investors and BZW Investment Management are being integrated into Barclays Global Investors (BGI) under one management. BGI, part of the Asset Management Group of Barclays, will be one of the world's largest institutional investment managers, with about £230 billion sterling of funds under management.
