BANK of Montreal, one of the biggest banks in North America, is the latest overseas bank to set up an operation in the International Financial Services Centre. The bank expects to employ 15 people.

The manager of Bank of Montreal Ireland, Mr William Bonnell, said that while the tax benefits of the IFSC was one factor in the bank setting up in Ireland, more important factors were the availability of quality staff and the number of North American companies moving into Ireland.
