Bank card combines services

Bank of Ireland has developed a cash card incorporating ATM and debit-card features for business customers

Bank of Ireland has developed a cash card incorporating ATM and debit-card features for business customers. The new card combines Pass, Laser and Cirrus capabilities allowing business customers cost-effective payment options and cash access at home and abroad.

The product helps businesses reduce their costs by moving from paper to electronic transactions resulting in lower bank charges. The cash limit for Pass and Cirrus is £750 and the limit for Laser purchases is £1,000.

This card is expected to be particularly beneficial to smaller businesses in separating business and personal transactions while providing 24-hour access to banking facilities. The development of the Business Cash Card is part of the Bank of Ireland's 100 steps to better banking programme.
