THE first Lloyds TSB annual general meeting since the two British banks merged last year was disrupted yesterday by around 30 shareholders protesting at the bank's stance on Third World debt.

Some of the protesters staged what they described as an "ethical streak" and at least two arrests were made by police after security officers removed several people, some completely naked, from the a.g.m., which was held at Edinburgh's new international conference centre.
