Bank of Ireland is offering bridging loans to all mortgage customers at its home loan variable rate, which currently stands at 4.35 per cent. Industry rates for bridging loans are as high as 10 per cent.
According to Bank of Ireland, its new offer represents a saving of up to £1,429 on a modest bridging loan of £75,000 over four months.
