Ark Life, AIB's Life and Pensions company has introduced a stand alone Critical Illness product to complete its life assurance product range. AIB Lifeline is designed to pay out a cash sum if a policyholder is diagnosed as suffering from a serious illness or if they become totally and permanently disabled.

The amount of cover available under the AIB Lifeline plan can either remain the same throughout the term of the contract, or reduce in line with an outstanding debt or mortgage depending on the option chosen.
