ANGLO Irish Bank has raised £50 million sterling through a bond issue. The coupon on the fixed rate bond is 9.875 per cent. The bond will be callable at par from year 10 when it will be repriced at 0.29 of a percentage point over the then five year gilt. The lead manager is Merrill Lynch.
