The claim by Andaman Resources against Newcrest Mining has been settled. The action was pursued jointly with Glencar. Andaman Resources, in its first results since the de-merger of Andaman, said it received a "modest five figure sum" after the deduction of its share of legal costs. The other action, again taken jointly with Glencar, against the Mayo County Council, has been set for a hearing in the High Court later this month.
