EXPLORATION group Aminex has reached an agreement with local interests to develop oilfields in the Russian republic of Tatarstan. Under the agreement, Aminex will initially evaluate oilfields which are being transferred to a new company, Ydelloil. Aminex will have a 35 per cent stake in this company. Aminex and another shareholder in Ydelloil are to set up a joint company to manage and control the operations.
