Aminex, the oil company with production operations in Russia, has switched around its senior management team.

Mr Peter Elwes, a non executive director has been appointed chairman designate. He is a former chief executive of Hardy Oil & Gas. The current chairman Mr Brian Hall becomes group chief executive and managing director Mr Robin McFarlane becomes executive deputy chairman.

Mr Antonio Prada, who relaunched the group's US producing operations, has been promoted to the board to assist with development.
