ALR Innovations and software company Zinc Software have won the annual InterTrade Ireland Seedcorn competition.

University of Limerick spin-out ALR Innovations, which won the High Growth category, has developed specialised recycling technology for LCD displays which removes hazardous materials from waste displays. Zinc Software has developed the world’s first smartphone-linked heart health sensor.

ALR Innovations was awarded €100,000 and Zinc Software received €50,000.
