Albion, the Belfast-based manufacturer of menswear, is looking for a period of renewed sales growth, according to chairman Mr E.J. Wood.

This follows a drop in sales from £24.7 million to £21.6 million in the year to September 30th, 1997, due to the liquidation of a major customer and the high rate of sterling. Overall, Albion recorded a pre-tax profit of £957,000. This contrasted with a loss of £500,000 in the previous year.

Dividends were raised from 1.8p to 3.3p.
