PROFITS soared to record levels for aircraft interior manufacturers AIM Group, doubling turnover in the space of a year, it was revealed yesterday.

The lucrative American market provided the launching pad for the group's turnover of £67.2 million sterling, 106 per cent up on last year's total of £32.6 million.

An increase in sales was forecast last year, but the actual amounts were well up on the forecasts.
