Kingspan chief executive Gene Murtagh was paid €1.3 million last year, according to the insulation manufacturer’s annual report. The total, which includes basic salary, pension contributions, a performance- related bonus and benefit-in- kind contributions, is unchanged from 2010.

Chief financial officer Geoff Doherty was also paid €1.3 million last year, the report shows. Its former chief financial officer, Dermot Mulvihill, was paid €1.1 million.

As previously announced, total revenues at Kingspan increased by 30 per cent to €1.55 billion last year. Trading profit increased by 33 per cent to €95.7 million and earnings per share by 27 per cent to 37.1 cent. The group’s gross acquisition spend during 2011 was €130.3 million.
