The Fianna Fail fund-raiser, Mr Des Richardson, has been appointed to the board of Aer Lingus, it has been disclosed. While the appointment has yet to be officially announced by the Minister for Public Enterprise, Ms O'Rourke, Mr Richardson will take up his position very shortly, it is understood.

Mr Richardson, has been involved with fund-raising for Fianna Fail for several years.
